MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc.)

Master of Science (M.Sc.) is a two-year semester pattern (Choice Based Credit System ) postgraduate degree course run by college in various specialized Science fields such as

M.Sc. Physics
M.Sc. Chemistry
M.Sc. Mathematics
M.Sc. Computer Science
M.Sc. Microbiology

Two academic years consisting of four semesters with the University examinations at the end of each semester namely

M. Sc. Semester I Exam
M. Sc. Semester II Exam
M. Sc. Semester III Exam
M. Sc. Semester IV Exam

In this course the aspirants will learn technical and crucial aspects regarding the wider applications of Science and its industrial work ethics. Intake of each specialized course is 20 and the process of admission is centralized at University level. Many of our students are placed in Multinational Industries through our Training and Placement activities. We provide 100% placement assistance. Every year our students find place in University merit positions and get degree from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.

ELIGIBILITY TO THE COURSE:

Subject to their compliance with the provisions of this direction and of other ordinances in force from time to time, the following applicant candidates shall be eligible for the admission to Master of Science and examinations their of

1.	For M. Sc. (Physics) Semester-I	For admission to the M. Sc. Semester I in Physics, a candidate shall have offered Physics as one of the subjects at the qualifying B.Sc. Examination.
2.	For M. Sc. (Chemistry) Semester-I	For admission to the M. Sc. Semester I in Chemistry, a candidate shall have offered Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry as one of the subjects at the qualifying B.Sc. Examination.
3.	For M. Sc. (Mathematics) Semester-	For admission to the M. Sc. Semester I in Mathematics, a candidate shall have offered Mathematics as one of the subjects at the qualifying B.Sc. Examination.
4.	For M. Sc. (Computer Science) Semester-I	For admission to the M. Sc. Semester I in Computer Science, a candidate shall have offered Computer Science as one of the optional subjects of study and examination at B.Sc. degree or B.Sc./ B.E. examination with Post B.Sc. diploma course in Computer Science of RTM Nagpur University or any other statutory university and Application or B.Sc. with optional subjects Computer Maintenance / B.Sc. (Information Technology) / B.C.A.
5.	For M. Sc. (Microbiology) Semester-I	For admission to the M. Sc. Semester I in Microbiology, a candidate shall have offered Microbiology/ Biotechnology as a subject of study and examination at B.Sc. degree.

MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (MCA)

MCA is a two year (4 Semester) programme in Computer Applications providing an extensive coverage of the latest IT curriculum. The course ideally suited student who want to make a career in the fast growing IT Industry. On successful completion of the MCA Programme, a candidate will have numerous job opportunities in India and also has scope to join a IT Company anywhere in the world.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks (45% marks for Backward Class Students) and having passed (10+2) with mathematics as one of the subject. The admission will be through CET conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education with non zero score.
